This application was designed to give the Big Bear Mountain brand a slick new look that made renting equipment and getting ski and snow boarding information that much faster and easier. To start I focused on the the angle of the mountain slopes and red accent of the logo and went with the design from there.
CONCEPTION TO WEBSITE
The design was always meant to flow at a cascading angle. I wanted to emphasize that even more with the diamonds that make up the main portion of the menu, which then turned into the actual buttons. Also, with so many beautiful pictures of Big Bear and happy skiers available, I thought using these across the site would be the most effective selling point.
The SkoolLive App connects students and schools network wide, allowing them to participate in local and national contests by submitting self-created content and voting on peer content.
Voting increases their SkoolLive Famous Ranking and students with the highest rankings are featured across the SkoolLive Network daily.

This app stemmed from the desire to get back that feeling of when a friend made a special mixtape with just you in mind. Actual cassettes are in short supply, it’s time for an updated version of the mixtape!
